The Agathis alba

The Agathis alba is a tall tropical tree.
The leaves are dark green and very smooth.
The leaves shown in image 1 are from a 20 meter tall, but narrow tree, which was growing in a tropical forest region, about 700 meter above sea level.
The width of the tree at the lower part is about 3 to 4 m only and is more narrow at the middle and top of the tree. The local name of the tree in Malay language is "Damar Minyak", which means hard, sticky and oily.
