Which gardenlot I should lease ?

Question:
I want to lease a lot of gardenland to make some gardening as a hobby. I got 2 offer . One offer is a gardenlot with about 600 sq meters landarea, the other lot has about 3000 sq meters landarea.The smaller lot is 1 kilometer away from my house, the larger land is about 5 kilometers away. Which lot I should lease?

Answer:
Choosing a gardenlot is not easy. To decide which lot is the most suitable depends on many factors, as soil, neighborhood, sunlight, water, land size and distance to your house etc.
With regard to the land size and distance to your house, I recommend you lease the lot with 600 sq meters, because it is just the size one person can handle as a hobby and it is not too far away from your house. The second lot is too large to be done as a hobby, unless several poeple can help you regularly, that means daily for the time from early spring until end of fall. If mainly you are the only one which activ and regular will do the gardening then choose a lot size with about 400 to 800 sq meters.

Conversion:
400 sq meters = 478 sq yards
800 sq meters = 957 sq yards
1 kilometer = 0.62 miles
8 kilometer = 4.97 miles
