Why my peartree becomes thin and dry ?

Question:
I have a peartree which I have planted a few years ago. The first 3 years it was growing well. Now the tips of the branches become dry and the tree becomes thin and lean.
What can be the reason?

Answer:
A possible reason can be the groundwater level of the soil. If the soil is wet and cold from standing groundwater and the groundwaterlevel is too high, then the problems with the fruittrees can happen.
The minimum groundwater level for fruittrees and bushes is about 120 to 200 centimeter, for flowers and vegetable about 60 to 80 centimeter.

Conversion:
60 centimeter = 24 inches
80 centimeter = 31 inches
120 centimeter= 47 inches
200 centimeter= 79 inches
