Effective medium for catching rats.
Small dry seawater - fish, about 1 to 2 inch long ( 2.5cm to 5 cm ) are effective for catching rats.
Fried this small salty fish until the smell is quite strong. But avoid that the fish becomes black. Fix the fish with a thin wire inside the rat - trap.
The smell attracts the rat, which will come usually only when the room is quiet at late hours around midnight or later.
