Sugar cane

Harvesting of sugar cane

You can harvest sugar cane about 1 to 2 years after planting.
If you are a hobby farmer or hobby gardener and you have to cut the sugar cane by hand, be careful. The leaves can cut the skin.

At the right corner of this leaf you can see the sharp and fine parts, which can cut the skin easily.
